Robert Marzban, DDS, MDS

Orthodontist located in McLean, VA

Meet Dr. Marzban

I remember going to various places as a child where strangers would come up to my family and rave about how my father took such great care of his patients.  I would love for my kids to have the same thing to say about me.

My career path started with dental school at the Medical College of Virginia where I earned my DDS Summa Cum Laude.  Very proud of that, but honestly, I had to look up what that meant at the time.  A month after graduation, I moved away from Virginia for the first time since early childhood for my residency in Orthodontics.  The University of Connecticut gave me a Masters in Dental Science, my specialty degree in Orthodontics, and a primo seat for college basketball games.

Growing up in Northern Virginia created very strong ties which eventually brought me back.  It’s nice to be near my siblings and childhood friends while raising a family.  Between running into some of the thousands of smiles we’ve created over the years, training and racing several Ironman triathlons, or teaching appointment at Columbia University, I’m hoping that our kids can see and appreciate the level of passion and commitment that we have in our lives.  I do realize that despite all that, the most important factor for acceptance as a parent is whether I sing in an embarrassing way while taking the kids to swim practice with their friends.

I would love to invite you to spend a little time in our office and see for yourself the level of care from our team.

My wish: be passionate enough to inspire others.
